The Passing of Common Sense
Jenny shared with the group an article about how Common Sense died of heart failure at the brink of the Millennium. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son Reason. His stepbrothers surive him: Rights, Tolerance and Whiner. As we were growing up for decades, petty rules, silly laws and foolish lawsuits held no power over Common Sense. We lived by simple, sound financial policies like (don't spend more than you earn), and its' okay to come in second. You don't always have to be the winner. Jenny than told jokes about the lack of common sense that our young people display today. It was a great time talking with each other once again.
